Work, school, relationships -- anxiety, stress and related tension are abundant. Try this simple and effective essential oil recipe to for relief.
Combine the following oils:
5 Drops Peppermint
2 Drops Eucalyptus
2 Drops Camphor
2 Drops Sandalwood
1 Drop Parsley Seed
For daytime use add:
1 Drop Rosemary
2 Drops Patchouli
For nighttime use add:
1 Drop Roman Chamomile
6 Drops Lavender
Swirl your container gently to blend. Hold beneath your nose and Inhale gently until your tension resolves (typically no more than 10 min.). Optional for repeated use: Pour the contents onto the filament of a blank inhaler. Assemble the inhaler and use as needed. Alternative is to store in a dropper bottle, 1ml or 2ml is best. Sprinkle onto a cotton ball and inhale whenever desired.
Place your blended oils into a 5 ml roller bottle. Add your favorite carrier oil to fill to bottle. Insert roller. Shake gently to blend. Roll your synergy onto your temples and the back of your neck. If you are not able to sufficiently smell the synergy, roll onto the palms of your hands and cup your hands in front of your nose.
Give yourself permission to let go of any thoughts and concerns. Focus on your breathing. Inhale slowly and deeply until you fill your diaphragm expand (place your hand on your belly and feel it rise if in doubt). Exhale very slowly by gently blowing air between your lips. When your mind wanders, gently redirect your attention to your breathing. Repeat until your tension resolves.
Safety: Peppermint essential oil can cause respiratory distress in young children. No not use this recipe with children under the age of eight.
